We men (and I mean that in general terms) have needs that cannot be compromised. We want to feel needed, that we are the protector of the home and family, and that we are the provider. These needs are instinctual and are present in each of us. We also need to feel like a man, which means that we seem to have an affinity for such things as fighting, or watching the UFC. Watching these athletes on TV often causes us look at ourselves and feel the urge to improve our muscular appearance and strength.
